The SuperATV Cab Heater for Can-Am Defender HD8 is the ultimate cold-weather upgrade for your UTV. It draws engine heat directly from your coolant lines — just like a car heater — to deliver powerful, consistent warmth to your cab. No propane, no batteries, no compromises.
Quick-Start Flow Valve: Gets you heated air twice as fast by diverting coolant to your heater core at low engine temps. Ideal for cold-start rides.
Grille Cover: Blocks frigid air flowing over your radiator, increasing coolant temps so your heater warms up faster. Made with PVC-backed polyester. For use in temperatures below freezing only — do not use above 32°F or engine overheating may occur.
Included defrost vents and hoses route through your dash for a factory-clean look. Keeps your windshield clear of snow, ice, and fog while you ride.
Don't leave your back-row passengers in the cold. Add a second-row heater that mounts in front of the middle seat with its own adjustable temperature and fan settings. Note: Second-row heater may limit space for the center-rear passenger.
Does this heater work without a factory HVAC system?
Yes — this heater is specifically designed for Can-Am Defender HD8 models that do not have a factory HVAC system. It taps into your existing coolant lines.
How does the SuperATV Cab Heater work?
It circulates engine coolant through a heater core inside the cab unit, then blows warm air through adjustable vents — the same principle as a car's heater.
What is the Quick-Start Flow Valve?
The optional flow valve diverts coolant to the heater core at low engine temperatures, so you get warm air significantly faster on cold starts.
Can I add a rear heater later?
Yes. The second-row heater is available as an add-on option and installs in front of the middle rear seat.
Is drilling required for installation?
Yes, drilling through plastic is required. All necessary drill bits and mounting hardware are included in the kit.
What temperature range can the hoses handle?
The high-grade radiator hoses are rated from -40°F to 285°F, covering extreme cold and high engine heat.
