The SuperATV Cab Heater for Can-Am Defender HD5 draws engine heat directly from your coolant lines to warm your cab — just like a factory car heater. Designed specifically for Defender HD5 models without a factory HVAC system, this kit includes all mounting hardware, hoses, and drill bits for a clean, dash-mounted install.
Compatible with Can-Am Defender HD5 models without factory HVAC:
Gets you heated air twice as fast by diverting coolant to the heater core at low engine temps. Ideal for cold-start rides.
Blocks frigid air flowing over your radiator to raise coolant temps faster. Made with PVC-backed polyester. For use in temperatures below freezing only — do not use above 32°F or engine overheating may occur.
Circulates coolant when the engine is at idle, so you get heat even when you're not moving.
Keep back-seat passengers warm too. Mounts in front of the middle seat with adjustable temperature and fan settings.
Note: Drilling through plastic and firewall is required. All necessary drill bits are included.
The standard heater requires engine RPM to circulate coolant. Adding the optional Idle Pump allows the heater to work even when the engine is at idle.
No. The grille cover is designed for temperatures below freezing only. Using it above 32°F will cause your machine to overheat.

Most installs take 2–4 hours. All hardware, hoses, and drill bits are included. Drilling through plastic and the firewall is required.
