Winch Mounting vs. Push-Tube Pulleys
KFI recommends using a roller or pulley at the winch when plowing with steel cable to reduce cable strain. This roller replaces the standard winch fairlead during plow season and is not intended for push-tube mounting.
This roller was previously used as a pulley option on KFI UTV push-tube systems, but that application has been replaced by the KFI Quick Pulley for steel cable, part #106680. Push-tube pulleys are required only when specified by the model-specific KFI application chart.
Installation and Soft Strap Option
A 12-inch soft strap, KFI #106470, is recommended for attaching the winch hook back to the machine during plowing. Choose Add Strap to add a soft strap, or No Strap if you do not need one. Review the installation instructions and confirm the mounting arrangement for your setup before installation.
