Assault’s high-temp boot grease is a game changer. But why? OEM boot grease isn’t built for the friction of sustained high speeds or high articulation angles. It’ll overheat, become watery, and send CV-joint friction sky-high. This can cause boot failure, CV failure, and catastrophic axle failure. Sand racers, rock crawlers, and trail riders can experience poor performance or busted axles from running average grease. Phoenix axles use groundbreaking high-temp grease that’s designed to get hotter than hell while still maintaining perfect lubrication.
Lab-Proven High-Temp Performance
Assault couldn’t find the limits of Phoenix Axle grease just from riding their Can-Am X3 as hard as possible—they had to take it to a professional viscosity lab. This grease didn’t break down up to 586.4°F, which was as hot as the equipment could get. So it’s even better than that. OEM grease started breaking down and getting watery around 365°F. This grease lets you keep the needle pinned whether you’re racing for a gold medal or flying through the open desert.
Oversized CVs for High Articulation
The oversized CV joints on the Phoenix Axle let it run at extreme angles without binding or overheating. That means you can use a lift or offset A-arms and still ride at full throttle for hours.
