For our strongest ball joint yet, we started with ultra-tough 300M steel and then coated it with a black oxide finish for extra corrosion protection. We used that material to create a ball joint that’s 2.25 times stronger than the OEM ball joint that let you down. Each ball joint comes with a greasable zerk for easy access and servicing. We make our heavy-duty ball joints using black oxide-coated 4340 steel, a material that demonstrates higher toughness and wear resistance than other ball joint materials. Our 4340 ball joints are designed with a wider base, making them twice as strong as stock. And like our 300M ball joints, these heavy-duty ones are also fully greasable and serviceable.
