SuperATV Cab Heater for Can-Am Defender HD10

Cold rides are over. The SuperATV Cab Heater for the Can-Am Defender HD10 pulls heat directly from your engine's coolant lines—just like a factory car heater—to keep your cab warm no matter how brutal the conditions get. Whether you're checking fence lines in January or hauling gear through a mountain snowstorm, this heater turns your Defender into a four-season machine.

How It Works

The heater taps into your existing coolant system and routes warm air through adjustable vents into your cab. A built-in shutoff valve lets you cut heat when you don't need it. Add the optional Quick-Start Flow Valve to divert coolant to the heater core at low temps and get warm air twice as fast. Pair it with the Grille Cover (for temps below freezing) to raise coolant temps faster and maximize heat output.

Key Features

  • Adjustable temperature and fan speeds
  • 360° adjustable vents
  • High-grade radiator hoses rated -40°F to 285°F
  • Includes defrost hose and vent to keep your windshield clear
  • 3.4 amps at 13.7 volts | 14,600 BTU at 135 CFM
  • Built-in shutoff valve
  • Heater control box: 10" × 4.5" × 11.75" — mounts under the dash
  • All installation hardware, drill bits, and Defender-specific mounting plates included

Windshield Defrost

Included defrost vent and hoses route through your dash for a factory-clean look. Keeps your windshield snow-, ice-, and fog-free while you drive.

Don't Forget the Back Row

Add a second-row heater to keep rear passengers comfortable. It mounts in front of the middle seat with its own adjustable temperature and fan controls. Note: second-row heater may limit space for the center-rear passenger.

Optional Add-Ons

  • Quick-Start Flow Valve – Warm air 2× faster at startup
  • Idle Pump – Maintains coolant flow at idle for consistent heat
  • Grille Cover – Blocks cold air over the radiator; use only in temps below freezing

Installation Notes

  • Drilling through plastic required — all necessary bits included
  • Grille cover must NOT be used in temps above freezing (risk of overheating)

Frequently Asked Questions

Does this heater work on the Defender MAX?
Yes. Front and rear heater options are available for Defender MAX HD10 models (2017+). Select your configuration using the options above.

Do I need the Flow Valve?
The Flow Valve is optional but recommended if you ride in very cold temps or at low idle. It diverts coolant to the heater core earlier, cutting warm-up time in half.

Can I use the Grille Cover year-round?
No. The Grille Cover is designed for use in temperatures below freezing only. Using it above freezing will cause your machine to overheat.

What Defender HD10 models are compatible?
See the Fitment tab for a full list of compatible models (2016+), including DPS, XT, XMR, XTP, 6x6, Limited, Pro, and MAX variants.
